The spiritual old city on the Godavari
Panchavati is Nashik's historic and religious heart — home to Kalaram Mandir, Sita Gufa and the Godavari ghats where the Kumbh Mela gathers. The housing is old-city style: wadas, independent floors and low-rise buildings in narrow lanes, at rents notably lower than the newer west side. Tenants here choose character, community and temple-town rhythm over modern amenities.
