Right now, yes — completely free for both sides. Owners list properties at no cost, and tenants can browse and contact owners without paying any brokerage. In the future we may introduce optional paid features (like highlighted listings), but we will always announce pricing clearly before anything changes.

Open any listing and tap “Show owner contact”. You'll need a free account — this keeps casual spam away from owners and lets them know genuine tenants are enquiring. Once revealed, you can call or WhatsApp the owner directly. There is no middleman.

Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We check that photos are genuine, details are complete and rent figures are realistic for the locality. We reject listings that look fake, duplicated or misleading. That said, always visit the property in person before making any decision.

Create a free owner account, tap “Add property”, fill in the details (rent, deposit, locality, photos) and submit. Our team reviews it — usually within a day — and it goes live once approved. You can edit it anytime, see how many tenants viewed your contact number, and mark it rented when the deal is done.

Most owners ask for a government photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN or passport), passport-size photos, and sometimes an employment or student ID. For the rent agreement, Maharashtra uses online e-registration (Leave and License), which needs Aadhaar-based verification of both parties. Some societies also ask for a police verification form — your owner or society office will guide you.

Typically 2 to 5 months' rent, depending on the locality and furnishing. Premium areas like Gangapur Road often ask for more; budget areas like CIDCO or Satpur usually less. The deposit is refundable when you vacate, minus agreed deductions — make sure the amount and refund terms are written into your rent agreement.

Three simple rules: never pay any money before visiting the property and meeting the owner in person; be suspicious of rents that look too good for the area; and insist on a written agreement before paying a deposit. NashikRent never collects payments on behalf of owners — if anyone claims otherwise, report it to us immediately.

Yes. Use the “Preferred tenants” information on each listing to see whether the owner accepts bachelors, families or company leases. PGs and hostels have their own category in the search filters — areas like College Road, Adgaon and Untwadi have good options for students and young professionals.

Your listing appears in search results for its locality, budget range and property type, plus on our locality pages. Your dashboard shows exactly how many tenants have viewed your contact number, so you always know the listing is working. Clear photos and an honest description typically get several times more enquiries.

Log in, open “My listings”, and tap “Mark rented”. The listing comes off the public site immediately. If the tenant moves out later, one tap on “Relist” puts it back into review and live again — no need to type everything from scratch.

Not yet — for now, agreements are between you and the owner directly. Maharashtra's online Leave and License e-registration portal is the standard route, and many local service providers can complete it at your home. We plan to add agreement assistance in the future.
